This was the incident happened with me in few months back near my native place. I was with my uncle who is a Doctor by profession, in market place on nice sunny morning. Market place in village is a big open place where every retailer from nearest villages setup their shop once in week. This place is like ancient mall with lots of noise, bargains & so many many things. It was morning 9 O'clock market was yet set up with it's pace, we both were standing near old bus stop pole like all others, waiting n waiting. I was like explorer experiencing all this for 1st time.
My uncle's cell phone ringed with nice old song ring tone. He answered, it was his client from Mumbai. My uncle is little hard on listening on cell phone & environment was the added effect, so turned on loud speaker. Person on other side without waiting for uncle to say Hello, started mentioning something like this " Doctor, that tablets you gave she's not ready to take them, just seating in corner. I tried to convince her as you guided with very kind tone. Please tell me something......". This caught attention of other people around us. Person continued with " She's not even eating her favorite food, just being sad seating silently in corner............so worried..........please doctor ............" My uncle was cool & calm as he always does, he replied him in strange way, " Calm down she just going through bad time that's all. Don't panic just do as I say....." I was very curious to see my Uncle's field for 1st time. Uncle continued "Ok now listen carefully , I comprehend her problem, just follow my instructions & we'll through it. 1st don't give her food before she takes her medicine. To give her tablet, seat beside to her, put your hand around her, bring her close. Then gently open her mouth wide, lay tablet deep in her mouth. Gently pat her on back, make sure tablet swallowed completely. after some time give her some light food mixing medicine in doses I told you............." & Uncle continued.
This was something different to people & for me also, I mean someone asking help for his beloved lady & doctor is instructing him in a strange way. What kind of treatment is this? Now people were started staring & giving a mysterious look on their face. My Uncle was in his own world instructing that person with same strange ways.
Finally after nearly 20 minutes call ended, Uncle winked at me & said "let's go buy fish 1st.". One old person from people around us came close to us & said with his aloud voice "even my Dog Sheru has same problem, would you to come for a visit?" Uncle smiled & nodded with assertive "yes, sure". People around now realized that my Uncle is a Animal Doctor. All those strange looks turned into smiles.
This incident make us think, misinterpretation is not a wise thing, not always it will end with smile on face.
